This month's Adult Book Discussion book will be The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict. A young Black woman passing as white in 1900s New York rises to become J.P. Morgan’s personal librarian, navigating privilege, secrecy, and the cost of ambition.
Copies of our book club selections are available to borrow in our catalog in various formats or at the Library Services Desk approximately one month before each meeting.
Additional Information
In-person and phone registration starts November 3rd for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Online registration for everyone opens November 10th.
