In 1941, twelve U.S. Navy Nurses were taken prisoner by Japan. In the civilian concentration camps in the Philippines, under the direction of Nurse Laura Cobb, they provided tireless care to the inmates. Emilie Lucchesi tells the story of these nurses whose heroism saved thousands of lives.
