Parton was singing the true story of a movement that started with 9to5, a group of Boston secretaries in the early 1970s. This event is made possible by Illinois Libraries Present, a statewide collaboration among public libraries offering high-quality events. Illinois Libraries Present is funded in part by a grant awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).

You're invited to join the Mad Hatters for storytime! The Mad Hatters, a storytelling troupe from the Junior League of Chicago, promote literacy through lively 30-minute interactive story sessions for children." Additional Information Priority for Kids World programs is given to residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights with Eisenhower Library cards. Others will be placed on a pending waiting list and, if possible, moved to the main list 24 hours before the program. If your child is under age 7, please plan to be present at this event. Drop offs of children under 7 will not be permitted.
