We're celebrating Military Appreciation Month here at Eisenhower with a screening of Werner Herzog's Rescue Dawn, the story of a A U.S. fighter pilot's epic struggle of survival after being shot down on a mission over Laos during the Vietnam War.
Join us for a walk through the woods to welcome Spring. The group will meet at a nearby trail. Wear your walking shoes!
Grades 4-6.
Additional Information
Priority for Kids World programs is given to residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights with Eisenhower Library cards. Others will be placed on a pending waiting list and, if possible, moved to the main list 24 hours before the program.
Writers in grades 7-12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.
