During May we celebrate both Deaf Awareness Week and Techers Appreciation Week so we're offering a screening of Mr. Holland's Opus, the story of a composer who turns to teaching while raising a deaf son. 1995. PG. 2h 23m.
Writers in grades 7-12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Using the Library’s Lego collection, let’s have fun building a display for the Kids World display.

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.
Priority for Kids World programs is given to residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights with Eisenhower Library cards. Others will be placed on a pending waiting list and, if possible, moved to the main list 24 hours before the program.
During Military Appreciation Month, discover your family heroes with the largest online US military records collection. Familiarity with Ancestry Online is recommended.
