Grades 4-6. Learn about famous towers as we use STEAM to create our own Marshmallow Towers!

Priority for Kids World programs is given to residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights with Eisenhower Library cards. Others will be placed on a pending waiting list and, if possible, moved to the main list 24 hours before the program.
After training and signing a liability waiver, drop in during open studio hours to use Workshop equipment to work on your own creative projects or get a tour of everything the Workshop has to offer.
Ages 13 & up. Learn the basics of operating a sewing machine: threading a needle, winding the bobbin, and selecting different stitches. Time will be available to practice on the machine.

Please sign up for only one session, as the same class is repeated over three months to accommodate as many participants as possible.
Take a listen to the musical cultures that have shaped Illinois. Jutta and the Hi-Dukes play the traditional music immigrants brought with them from Greece, Ireland, Sweden, Bulgaria, and other cultures.

The Pen and Ink Writers Group gathers at the Library on the third Monday of each month to read short stories, poems or essays, all inspired by a common theme. Build up your writing skills through practice, presentation and positive critique.
