Writers in high school and college are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Calling all graphic novel fans in grades 3-6! Want to eat snacks and talk graphic novels with your fellow comic enthusiasts?

In conjunction with the Eisenhower Social Services team join us to paint pots for succulents for your winter blues. Pots, paint and plants will be supplied.

You're invited to join the Mad Hatters for story time! The Junior League of Chicago Mad Hatters is a story telling troupe that promotes literacy through a lively 30 minute interactive story time for children.

Make some simple crafts and be social with other creative people! Each session we will make something new and have fun things to talk about!

Historian Jim Gibbons, discuss his years as a sales rep for Brach's Candy Company. From the enticing smell of the plant, to the eye-twinkling displays in the stores, you'll learn all the tricks of the trade that help you select your treats.
